Mayfly, an insect lives for just a day, but lives its life to the full, flying from one flower to another. We should learn from this little creature and enjoy each day as it comes.
Many of us nowadays have forgotten the basic manners of wishing someone when we meet. Get into the habit today. Every morning, make it a point to wish your family members and remember to wish them goodnight before you go to bed. At school, remember to wish not only the teachers that teach you, but even others.
You live in a home. A home comprises other family members. Interact with them. Don't ignore them.
Respect others' privacy. Sometimes a person just needs to be alone for some time. Give them their space. When they feel better, they will come to you.
If a door is ajar, always knock, wait for permission and then enter.
Don't go through anyone else's personal belongings.
If you are a team member of your family, then be an active member. Do your bit to keep your home neat and tidy and help in household chores.
Smile! It not only makes you look much better, it will also make you and the people around you feel better.
Some of us like to gossip and talk bad about others behind their backs. We don't realize that by doing so others may talk behind our backs.
Don't keep things inside you. If someone has hurt you, tell the person that you are hurt. Don't keep things inside you. They will keep building up and only make you bitterer.
Make friends! Don't stay to yourself always. You need friends with whom you can talk, have fun, laugh and be sad.
Fighting with friends is a part of growing up. We don't have to always agree with others' points of view. But remember to make up. Make it a point to make up before going to bed at night. You will not only sleep better but you will be much happier.
We should treat the people who work for us with respect Always try to call them by their name. It makes them happy and they feel special. If the person is older than you, you should add a suffix denoting respect. In many parts ofIndiawe add the suffix maashi or didi (for a woman) or da or bhaiya (for a man). The durwan is not 'durwanji' and the driver is not 'driverji'. It is insulting to refer to someone by his or her profession. It is extremely rude to call someone by shouting 'yeah!' or with a sound. You could wave a hand and say excuse me'.
