START WORKING AS A TEAM FROM TODAY! HERE ARE SOME INTERESTING TEAM ACTIVITIES THAT WILL HELP YOU TO BECOME A BETTER TEAM PLAYER
Jigsaw Teams
You first need to be put into teams. Four teams would suffice. Take four large pictures of your favorite celebrities. Cut each into jigsaw pieces in such a way that there is one piece for every student. Your teacher can give them out randomly. On the count of three, each student must find which team he or she belongs to and then complete the jigsaw.
By making your teams, you have actually done your first team activity.
Mine-field
Each team nominates a player. The players are blindfolded and made to stand across the room. Between the players and the rest of the teams is the 'mine-field'. The mine-field has random obstacles like plastic bottles, newspapers and cans strewn all over. On the count of three, each team, by giving commands, must try to navigate their teammate safely out of the mine-field.
All aboard!
Draw four large circles on the ground. On the count of three, each team must try to get all its members inside the Circle. If every one fits in easily, make the circle a little smaller and then a little smaller.
Arm lock
Facing outwards lock arms with a teammate on either side so that the final result is a circle. Your teacher will then give certain orders like 'hop on your left: foot' or 'go around clock-wise' or she might ask you to pass an object, using only your mouth. Each team will have to follow the orders without unlocking arms.
